Ski Arlberg combines the pleasure of cruising down the slopes in the tracks of the historic ski pioneers with the benefits of a high-tech aerial ropeway infrastructure. In one of the most varied ski regions of the world where snow is virtually guaranteed, you can look forward to 95 state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars travelling between 1,300 and 2,800 metres above sea level (many of them equipped with the seat-heating invented in Arlberg), 23 ski conveyor belts in the children’s and beginners’ areas, 340 km of pistes of all degrees of difficulty, 180 km of powder runs, more than 1,000 highly trained winter sports instructors at numerous ski schools, fun-parks, permanent race courses, hands-free lift access with the reusable Ski Arlberg Card and many delightful and cosy meeting places.

New, incredible dimensions of diversity - the round is closing!

The Arlberg ski area will become the largest continuous skiing area in Austria. The new Flexenbahn cableway will open in winter 2016/17 and will make skiiing at the Arlberg even more varied and comfortable. With the help of the new link between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz, skiers will be able to reach all ski locaions on the Arlberg easily and comfortably on skies - from St. Anton and St. Christoph via Stuben, Zürs, Lech and Oberlech through to Schröcken and Warth. This increases the diversity and hence the winter sports fun at the Arlberg, reaching an incredible Dimension. For our winter sports enthusiasts there are 305 km of downhill slopes an 87 lifts and cableways available.

Natural ice rink at Zürs

The natural ice rink at Zürs is a particular highlight. You can turn pirouettes here and enjoy the view over the surrounding alpine scenery.

Ice skating rink at Lech

The first and only air-conditioned hotel ice rink in Europe in the Hotel Jagdhaus Monzabon offers you 300 square metres of artificial ice for ice skating and curling. Enjoy its icy delights!

Icefall climbing

If you are an ambitious icefall climber, Alpincenter Lech will organise extended ice tours of one of the many frozen waterfalls in the Arlberg region on request. Further information and reservations at Alpincenter Lech.

Remember that the road between Lech and Warth is closed in winter. You have to take the road over the Flexenpass – Zürs-Lech.
